As a solo traveller, I'd happily stay at Hostal Ritzi again. Coming back in the evenings felt welcoming, and the staff I met were really friendly. They also gave me tips for local restaurants and things to do. Breakfast was great, with pastries, toast and tea prepared by the staff. My single room with a shared bathroom was nothing fancy, but it was spacious, comfortable, clean, and suited me perfectly. The location is wonderful, just off the main street, Passeig del Born, close to restaurants, shops, the waterfront and Palma cathedral. The main downside is getting to public transport. The train station is about a 20-minute uphill walk, and the nearest bus stop for an airport line is 10-15 minutes away on foot. Keep that in mind if you're carrying all your luggage. Still, I think the extra walk is worth it for a city-centre stay.

Right in the centre of Palma, this is a decent place to stay and I recommend it. It's a nicely located, well-managed one-star hotel with welcoming staff and management. Don't expect many amenities, just the basics. Somewhat overpriced, and rooms near the bathrooms can get quite noisy at times.

A cosy place in a great location, with bus stops, the cathedral, shops and amazing restaurants nearby. I enjoyed the breakfast, served individually to each guest. The lady at reception was especially helpful and welcoming, and the staff were great. I really enjoyed my stay.

The welcome was really friendly, and the location is great. My room was basic but comfortable, with a clean, pleasant private bathroom. You can hear other guests when they get loud, though. Still, I’d recommend it.

Restaurants and cafés are only steps from the entrance, with buses and taxis nearby in the old town and the fountain close by too. It’s a cool, historic hotel, and the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. Breakfast was decent, and both the rooms and bathrooms were kept tidy. I’d happily recommend it.
