I was glad to find a bed here while on the Camino, and it was comfortable. The place was clean throughout, with a nice bar and lovely people working there. The pilgrim meal was so good, thank you! A really nice place to stay if your route takes you past, whether you’re on the Camino or another trip.

After crossing the Pyrenees on day one, this is a great place to stop, about 30 km from St John. I booked a private room. I’d slept in, so it was almost comfortable, and I thought it was pretty good and well priced.

The beds were cozy, and everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I really liked stopping here on the Camino. The food was great, and they had wine and beer until 2230, with coffee and breakfast in the morning.

The shared facilities worked well, from the WC's, showers and basin areas to the shoe racks that help keep the dorms fresh. Wifi worked great too. Upstairs, the spotless dorms have vaulted ceilings, wood beam accents and skylight windows. Rooms are sanitized daily and have fresh pressed fitted linens and pillow cases. There’s a high capacity coin operated laundry, plus a lounge with sofas, a chess table, a kettle and balcony access with a drying rack. Staff also do a great job running the private rooms and pilgrim dorms, as well as the bar, which brings together locals and travellers passing through on motorcycles or road trips. For dinner, the dining room serves a full menu with large portions after 7:30PM, and reservations are recommended. The regional dishes are wholesome and well seasoned, made with fresh ingredients, with comfort food like burgers and wings too. Joining the set price pilgrim group dinner requires a reservation and prompt arrival. The bar has casual bites like Spanish Tortillas, Bocadillos and Croquetas, including mushroom or ham, and they’re all delicious. Breakfast starts at 8am in the bar. The coffee is wonderful, and there’s fresh pressed orange juice, croissants, napolitanas, toast with butter and preserves, or Spanish classic tostada de“pan con tomate” with tomato pulp, olive oil and salt. Great food, excellent service, fair prices, and a lovely rural hostel/hotel in a lush, beautiful area.
