The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless and nicely decorated. I liked how the old building has been updated with modern comforts while keeping some of its original character. There’s plenty of seating around the hotel, plus a comfortable lounge. Set in a little passage in the old town, it was very quiet. Reception staff were friendly and ready to answer questions. The only thing that brought the room down for me was the mould in the grout around the shower over the bath. Even so, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the excellent coffee and homemade baked goods. The beds and other accommodations were very comfortable, and it’s a great spot for staying inside the city walls. The room Wi-Fi wasn’t great. Also, in the cooler months the A/C is switched off until the warmer season.

A cozy place right in the center of Avila, with spacious rooms, good beds, and breakfast included. The hotel is about as central and friendly as you could hope for.

Breakfast comes with coffee and homemade pastries in the morning. The room was clean and had all the amenities, and the location was excellent. The staff were very nice and helpful.
