Avila is a wonderful city, and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was just right, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location is hard to beat: step outside and you're right in front of the Catedral.

Despite being right in the town center, it was lovely and quiet. It's a historic building beside Avila cathedral. A special thanks to Juan, who welcomed us in the middle of the night after an EV charging issue delayed our arrival.

8/10
The main drawback was the noise. I could hear my neighbors talking through what seemed like very little insulation, and the busy cathedral plaza outside brought plenty of street sound too. Otherwise, a beautiful hotel with great rooms, a good breakfast, and a perfect location.

We stayed one night and saw the town the next morning, which worked well for what we needed. The location is excellent, with the central town car park just a three-minute walk away, handy if you don't want to take the car into the narrow streets with much luggage. The hotel is decent for four stars in a beautiful city. Service is good enough, though not especially engaged, and breakfast is decent. Rooms are a little dated with thin walls, but the rates aren't high, so the value is reasonable.

Clean rooms and friendly, good service. A very nice hotel right in central Avila, next to the cathedral.
