Alda Palacio Valdés

We had an enjoyable stay, and the staff at the hotel were friendly.

The location is convenient, though not especially pleasant. We called late and specifically asked for a quiet room. Checking in by phone was a bit of a hassle, although the person on the phone was friendly. It took about 15 minutes before we could get into the hotel. The room we were given was extremely noisy, on the first floor facing the street, with no soundproofing or outside blinds on the window. Even with earplugs, I could hear every car and people talking outside. Then at 8am on Saturday, the cleaner started work in the room just outside ours, and we could hear absolutely everything. If you have ears, I can't recommend this place.

The location was great, central but quiet, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good, with lots of delicious choices. I just missed having eggs. The walls are mostly drywall, so you can hear a lot from other rooms, though luckily there weren't many guests. The A/C didn't work through the night and only came on in the morning. We left the window open, but I'm worried about how that would be in summer.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is close to the center and shops. It was easy to find, but parking was a problem. They do have parking, so check where it is before you arrive or you could pay 5 euros extra to use the public car park.
