The main business here seems to be the restaurant, so don't expect much attention at check-in. We had to wait a while. The place felt sad and worn out: flickering lights, a broken bin, a shower coming off the wall, peeling paint, a musty bathroom, and no air conditioning. I might have been more forgiving if it were somewhere very touristy, but Avilés is an industrial town, or at least that’s the kindest way I can put it. It also wasn't cheap, at €50 for one night. The hotel is on the outskirts, not in the center, and I didn't find Avilés itself particularly pleasant. I really can't recommend staying here. I'd avoid it and stay somewhere else, preferably in another town.

A lovely little place to stay and eat. The commercial surroundings don’t take away from it being well worth a stop. The staff and restaurant are excellent!
