Suite 1907 Avilés

Alexandra was rude and arrogant, not courteous at all. She hung up on me and kept the €100 deposit she had initially withheld. The room had long, spiky bugs and spiders, stained sheets with black hairs, and shabby furniture, including a bed with a broken leg. The bathroom was tiny, had only a half-used roll of toilet paper, and felt fit for a forest gnome.

The photos speak for themselves, so I won't try to judge beyond what they show. There was a lot of humidity in the room, dirty curtains, and clothes from previous guests left in the closets. It was noticeably cold because the window wouldn't close properly. I filed complaints, but management didn't respond and seemed indifferent.

The windows couldn't be opened because this ground-floor apartment faces Galiana Street, a bar area, and anyone could get in through them since there are no bars. Inside, there was a strong tobacco smell, cobwebs, and so much dust I had to clean it myself. There was only one towel for two people and no staff to help. The bathroom floor was slippery, and water leaked onto it because the lamp didn't close properly. A loud extractor fan ran constantly and couldn't be switched off. There was just one bedside lamp, with no batteries, and no light switch or socket by the bed. They're refusing to return the €100 deposit, claiming someone smoked in the room. That's a lie 😡

The location was perfect, and the loft was modern, cozy, and a good size. What let it down for us was the cleanliness: the pillows were old and dirty, and the pillowcases were too small for them.
