The staff are kind and make you feel at home, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Set in the mountains, the house is incredibly beautiful, with breathtaking views and surroundings. For me, it beats a five star hotel in the middle of the city. I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Breakfast was lovely, with tomatoes fresh from the garden and local bread, plus cakes, croissants, jams, butter, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea, and coffee. The rooms were spacious, with large bathrooms, modern interiors, and spotless, thoughtful decor. The peace and quiet, the views, and above all the family who own this amazing place made it one of the best places I’ve stayed. Thank you so much for all the care and attention. We’ll be back.

We arrived late on bikes, and the woman was very accommodating even though we don’t know much Spanish or Basque. We really appreciated having cooking facilities. The building and surrounding area are beautiful, and it’s a fantastic place to stay.

The host was super friendly, and this lovingly restored and maintained hamlet offers 360-degree views. It made for an exceptional experience. Highly recommended.

This rural hotel is run by a local family and has great, friendly service. The views are beautiful, and it’s well located near Bilbao, with Artziniega as the nearest village.
