We found cockroaches on August 21 during our stay from August 19-22, 2025, including one on our son’s toothbrush. The conditions were extremely unsanitary. The owner confirmed this wasn’t the first time they’d had this kind of issue, with an abandoned building next door. We have photos, videos, and texts. They refused to reimburse us or take responsibility, which is completely unacceptable. Families should avoid this hotel. Travelers deserve to know the property isn’t sanitary.

The old part of Ayamonte is beautiful, with its arabesque architecture. And the shrimp with garlic is great too, one of the best dishes in Spain.
