Big Flat Barcelona

We rented the whole house expecting a comfortable holiday, but the problems made the stay uncomfortable and inconvenient, and we couldn’t enjoy it. The heating was set to 20°C and only ran from 21:00 to 09:30. Poor insulation meant the house stayed very cold, and on several nights the heaters stopped working altogether for the entire night. I have video proof. The host didn’t respond to our Booking.com messages about the heat or missing blankets. There weren’t enough towels or blankets for our group, which left us even colder. The living room air conditioning also didn’t work properly, and when it did run, it gave off warm air instead of the hot air needed for heating. Cooking was difficult because the kitchen exhaust fan was broken, and the rusty stove couldn’t be used. With six of us, bathroom water was only enough for two people at a time, so showers involved waits of over an hour. The bathroom ceiling looked moldy, and I recorded it. One bedroom window had a broken lock and could be opened easily, a serious security concern I also recorded on video.
