Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they spoke English. The interior was nice, and there’s a lovely garden with a pool. Our room was clean and pleasant, with nice views. It’s right in the historic centre, but on a quiet street too. The only little thing was there wasn’t a kettle or tea and coffee in the room. I’m not sure if that’s normal in Spain. Other than that, a lovely place :)

Natalia and Guillermo were the best part of our stay at Casa Rural Jardín del Desierto. They’re kind, helpful, and truly amazing hosts. The hotel is quiet, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean, with a great location in Tabernas. It’s a lovely base for bicycling in the Sierra Nevada mountains and for Western film fans, since lots of movies were made in the area. Tabernas is friendly, with plenty of side streets to explore.

A fantastic place to stay in Tabernas. Natalia and her co-host were friendly and very accommodating, and the room was perfect. The little pool was just what we needed when we arrived. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

After an intense track day, this is a perfect spot to relax. The people are amazing, the homemade food is awesome, the rooms are great, and there’s a nice pool. Best place I’ve stayed in the Almería desert so far. It was my second time here, and I hope to come back many more times!

The owners are so friendly and make you feel welcome. It’s an excellent small hostel hotel, and at last there’s a decent shower in this area. The other hotels all seem to struggle with that basic facility. Finding it was a bit tricky in the very narrow maze of streets.
