Apartamentos Les Moreres

The village and its people were lovely to explore, and the marked hiking routes and views made the stay worthwhile. It’s a good choice if you want some peace and time to switch off. The apartment itself was fine, though the double bed felt hard and the sofa wasn’t very comfortable. Cleaning was just okay. They do provide clean bath towels, but not enough, so I’d bring your own.

The town is amazing, but I don’t think I’ll return. We were all awake by 5 a.m. because of the rooster below the apartments, so no alarm was needed. The man you contact is lovely and answers questions straight away. On arrival, though, almost nothing else was as it seemed, and the photos looked like they were years old. The apartment was clean and matched the pictures, but the mattresses were poor. The shared areas downstairs felt like a haunted house, as though nobody had cleaned them in years. There was also a bar upstairs when I arrived, owned by the apartment owner’s brother. That place left a lot to be desired too. After travelling, I asked him about reception and he said he didn’t know anything, his exact words. He was nothing like the contact person. When it was time to collect the apartment money, though, he knew all about it.

The surroundings are really nice and quiet, but dealing with the customer service was awful. We booked an apartment for 5 days through Booking.com. The listing said there was a garden, barbecue, living room, pool table and other amenities, but every one of those areas was closed when we arrived. Management said by phone that guests who booked through Booking.com couldn’t use them, even though the booking description included them. Two days later a large group arrived, and those areas were opened for them.

It’s a quiet place with nice views and a good location, just right for a few days of rest and getting your energy back. The price feels fair for what you get.
