The house itself is fantastic, and the rest of our stay was very good. But we held a communion there in mid-May, when it was already warm enough for the pool, and found it empty with green water. The garden was completely dry and in very poor condition. For a communion at that time of year, both the pool and garden should have been ready.

We’d definitely stay again. The house was lovely, with a great pool, spacious rooms, comfortable mattresses, desks, TVs, and air conditioning. Both bathrooms were clean, though there was no shower gel or shampoo. The kitchen had plenty of supplies but no dish soap. The outdoor barbecue could be great, but the grill was coated in black grease. Parking was good and shaded. Watch out for the GPS, which sends you along a badly damaged dirt road; there’s also a paved way to get there. They returned our deposit without any problem, by Bizum the next day rather than when we handed back the keys.

Total disappointment. On the day we arrived, they called to say the water was a little cloudy, but it was green and full of algae, impossible to swim in. We had to empty and clean it ourselves, and it never filled again, so we couldn’t enjoy it at all. The place was dirty and neglected, and the photos don’t show how it is now. I absolutely don’t recommend it.

The house is very nice, I’ll give it that, but the owners were incredibly shameless. We’re young, and it felt like they thought they could take advantage of us. We had barely any water for four days, not enough to shower or wash dishes, and the power kept tripping. They kept our deposit over a supposedly opened door that had never been open, which felt completely made up to mock us because we’re young. The owners were there while we cleaned and tidied the house for the next tenants, but waited until we were done before saying they wouldn’t return the deposit, blaming us for things that weren’t even there. I’m not writing this because of the money. It’s the nerve of someone laughing at kids who caused no problems or damage. Keeping €120 of the deposit like that was disrespectful. As I’ve said, I neither want nor need it.
