We found the albergue really clean and well equipped, and could pick our own beds in the shared room. There were extra blankets available in case we felt cold. During our Caminho Português, the lovely lady welcomed us warmly again and gave us lots of good dinner tips for town. Such a good experience, we'd definitely recommend it! :)

The hostel itself is perfect. The staff are friendly, really helpful, and great at what they do. But the other guests made it feel like a kindergarten, shouting and laughing late in the evening. Even after being asked to quiet down, they kept talking loudly, as if nobody had taught them to whisper. I haven't seen that kind of disrespect at any other Albergues. If I could rate the guests, I would. Since this is an albergue for pilgrims, even if it isn't the "official" one, people should remember that many have to get up early and continue their journey. Please let guests know to keep quiet late in the evening and at night. I'm writing this from bed right now.

The beds in the sleeping area were really close together, and the bathrooms felt a bit cramped too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, though, and the accommodation was clean. I'd give it a 3.5.

The staff were absolutely fantastic, but the hostel itself was only average. We were in a room across the road, though still part of the hostel, with six people sharing one shower and toilet. It was okay, but honestly I wouldn't recommend it.

Everything was sparkling clean, and the beds were made very well, with curtains for a bit of privacy. I was cycling and they let me hose down my bike and bring it inside for safekeeping. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there's a supermarket a short walk away. This cosy Albergue has everything together in one place, including a washing machine, dryer, and hair dryer. I'd recommend it to cyclists.
