We first stayed at Faro Silleiro last September with friends and were hooked straight away. We’ve been looking for a reason to return to this stunning, unique spot ever since. This time, we celebrated a big birthday with 5 other couples. Everything was handled perfectly, with warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. The whole team was delightful, and a special thanks to our friends Fatima and Andrea, who always go the extra distance. We really enjoyed the new in-room massage service. The weather was superb too, so we got to make the most of the sunny terrace and pool. There’s no restaurant, but breakfast and lunch fed us very well, and we arranged special meals at both Faro Pequeno and Faro Silleiro. Both were excellent. We’re already trying to find a time to come back!

The ocean connection is what made our stay at the Faro Silleiro unforgettable. You can feel it throughout the hotel. It’s beautifully designed and really comfortable, a unique and wonderful experience.

The people at Faro Silleiro are the real heart of the place. The staff are warm, knowledgeable, and caring, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The lighthouse itself is beautifully restored and still working, perched above the Atlantic where the sea and sky keep changing. Our room was elegant, comfortable, and designed with the lighthouse in mind. Waking up and showering with the ocean behind you felt like pure luxury. Breakfast and the shared spaces also struck a lovely balance between modern comfort and respect for the lighthouse’s character. A short walk along the coast takes you to Faro Pequeno, which adds a lot to the experience. The food is excellent and rooted in local products, served in a striking space inspired by the inside of a fishing boat. Their wine list has plenty of local finds, and the master sommelier explained it all so well. This is more than somewhere to stay. It’s the kind of place you carry with you after you leave, and makes you wish you could stay forever.

The views from the pool were hard to stop admiring, and I’d be very happy to come back. This place feels calm and secluded, almost like the end of the world. Staying in the old lighthouse felt special, and I felt peaceful and safe from the moment I arrived. I loved how carefully the design is thought through, with details that bring the lighthouse’s history to mind. Breakfast was excellent, and I liked being able to order exactly what I wanted. The staff were amazing and made me feel welcome, checking in regularly to see how I was and whether I needed anything. There’s no full lunch or dinner service, but they arranged everything for me, including a wonderful visit to Thalasso Atlántico.

The views are astonishing, and the rooms are spotless and feel new. The team is amazing and goes above and beyond. Honestly, this was better than most five star hotels I’ve stayed at. One of the best hotels in Galicia, without question. Can’t wait to return.
