We stayed in the library room beside the library. It was spacious, clean and comfortable, and very quiet at night. Breakfast was good, served in a room overlooking a large terrace with river views. This historic small hotel is right in the centre of Balaguer, well placed for exploring the historic centre. I'd recommend it.

It feels like much more than a hotel, almost a museum where you can see carefully preserved interiors and travel back in time. Our room was big and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Thank you, I'm looking forward to staying again!

The building is amazing, with beautifully detailed decoration, and the location is perfect. We were very comfortable, the bed was perfect and the temperature just right. Spectacular views over the river at both sunset and sunrise.

We had a lovely, large room overlooking the river, and breakfast was excellent. The welcome was warm and friendly. It's a unique mix of a hotel and an ancient church, monastery and museum.
