My son and I loved wandering around this mansion and discovering all its little corners. It has so much character, from the layout to its history. A stay there also gave us a taste of rural life and rounded out our Barcelona trip. Getting there from Barcelona by commuter train was easy. The hosts were wonderful, and we'd highly recommend the experience. It really is a mansion, not just a house, and a one-of-a-kind place to stay.

We spent some lovely evenings in the courtyard, with day trips during the day. Our hosts knew the area well. The countryside mansion was a unique place for a family visit, about an hour from Barcelona and 15 minutes from a fantastic beach and boardwalk. Our family had an amazing time.

We had four families at the Villa and there was plenty of room for us. Eating outside and picking fresh fruit straight from the trees was such fun. The local beaches were among the prettiest and least touristy I've seen. The Villa itself has two kitchens, plus distinctive art, sculptures, and murals. A fantastic vacation.

The huge mansion is beautiful and close to the beach, and Barcelona is less than an hour away. It seems ideal for a wedding or a weekend away with a large group. I'll definitely return.

This historic rural accommodation sits in Baix Penedes, an area known for its wines and cavas. It's about ten minutes from the coast, near Vendrell, Santa Oliva, and Arbos. Recommended.
