Crueces Metro Rooms felt like a second home in Spain. Esther and her sister (sorry, I forgot your name, love) were lovely and understood hospitality so well. Nothing we asked felt like too much.

The biggest plus is the metro, less than 10 metres away, and there are lots of nearby breakfast places. Parking is free after 2 pm on Saturdays when the paid zone is inactive, though finding a space may be difficult. This guesthouse has en-suite rooms with comfortable beds and small, clean bathrooms. There’s complimentary water, but no reception or staff, so you handle check-in yourself.

We spent two weeks here while our daughter was in hospital, and being right beside it made things so much easier during those weeks. The rooms were spotless and peaceful, and the service was wonderful. I’m incredibly grateful for the personal, kind, understanding care. You don’t find many places like that anymore. I’d highly recommend it.

I’ve stayed here twice now, and both times everything was exceptional. The room was spacious, cosy, and very clean, and the location was great. A lovely place to unwind. I’ll be back.
