El Rincón de Arán

We only used the dining room and outdoor terrace, not the rooms, so I can’t comment on those. We were comfortable. They were practically closing and had little food left, but served us anyway, even though the barbecue wasn’t lit. The food was basic, and we felt it was expensive for what it was.

We stopped for lunch before heading out on our hike and got such a warm welcome. The food was homemade with love, including fresh vegetables from the garden. The owners and the place are both absolutely charming! 😍

We ate there today and Mr. Vicente was delightful. The food was excellent, and the two cases of very good wine we bought were reasonably priced too.

We stopped for a quick drink, and the owner sat down to chat while we had our beers. He made racist comments and said two sisters staying there were ugly, one ugly and the other even worse. It makes you wonder what he says about everyone else. Avoid this place, even if you’re desperate for a drink.
