Parador de Santiago

The outdoor setup was a real highlight for our group: a huge patio, lots of loungers and shade, toilets outside, a great pool with a jacuzzi, a bar area with two bottle racks, and a ping-pong table. Even though the house is right in the city center, we couldn’t hear anything from outside while we were on the patio. Supermarkets are close by, too. At night, the beautiful building looks breathtaking with the lights on. We stayed from August 8th to 10th, with 12 adults, 8 teenagers, and one pet, and all 20 of us were delighted. The house is spacious and beautifully kept, with spotless rooms, sheets, bedspreads, and towels. Adults had double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, TVs, and air conditioning. The large, elegant bedrooms downstairs were lovely, and upstairs there was a room set up for all 8 teenagers, also with en-suite bathrooms, TVs, and air conditioning. The beds were comfortable, and the windows kept out outside noise. The kitchen is huge, clean, and fully equipped. There are two air-conditioned living rooms with TVs downstairs, plus toilets in the hallways on both floors. The ground floor is particularly beautiful and well preserved. We were so glad we could bring our dog. She had a brilliant time wandering around the house and patio. María José was especially attentive and helpful throughout our stay, and we’re very grateful for her assistance. It was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely come back.

Whenever I get the chance to visit Barcarrota, I stay at the Palacete. It’s peaceful and full of charm, and the staff couldn’t be better. The service is fantastic. I recommend it 100%.

The pool area was fabulous, and all the rooms looked beautiful. We came as a group of 20 this weekend and had a wonderful time. Everything was super clean and all the facilities were really comfortable. Honestly, it was a 10 out of 10.

The hotel doesn’t provide any amenities, not even a vending machine or anything like that. I also wasn’t keen on the air conditioning being set to run only at certain hours. The mansion itself is spectacular and very well maintained, and they’re still making improvements. The value for money is excellent. My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was brand new and spacious. The wardrobe had two hanging rails, but no shelves.
