Habitat Apartments Blanca

It's a quiet place with everything you need for a good stay. The location is fine, just a few minutes' walk from three different metro lines. The bathroom door isn't a great design, and the sofa is a little worn.

It's easy to get around from here, and the place was very well maintained. A consultant came to hand over the key and show us around. It's near a subway station and worked well for our family. If needed, you can leave your luggage at their Diagonal office after checkout. It's very close to the Diagonal subway station.

At check-in, there was a horrible eggy smell throughout the apartment, so I wasn't happy with the housekeeping. The two-bedroom unit also has just one small toilet. On the plus side, it's spacious, has a balcony and a fully working kitchen with a washer and dryer. They provided a starter kit with tea bags, coffee, small bottles of olive oil and vinegar. There are lots of little supermarkets nearby, Telepizza is right across the street, and La Ulalia metro is a five-minute walk away. Camp nou is about a 20-minute walk.

I felt stressed the whole time about losing my deposit because there are so many rules that could cost you it, like leaving the trash, being noisy or smoking. The apartment already smelled of cigarettes when we arrived. Our neighbors were loud and had parties, and the walls are so thin that you can even hear someone snoring. One room was freezing, with no separate heating, and the extra duvet in the wardrobe was dirty. There's no free parking, and they charge €10 for every hour you're late. Call at least an hour ahead if you're going to be late, since a WhatsApp or Booking message apparently doesn't count as notice. The apartment is bright and nice, and the layout works well. It's within walking distance of metro stations, with a supermarket and bakery nearby. There's also an underground parking lot called Viajeros just a few steps away.
