It’s a little expensive, though having breakfast included helped a lot, with plenty of choice for a family. The kids loved the extra Level snack service. The location is great and close to all transport, and the manager was helpful in guiding us toward activities. Be sure you know what you’re getting before letting them book things for you, or you may end up paying for extras you don’t need.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d happily come back to Meliá Barcelona Sky. Getting around was easy, with the nearest metro station about a 7-minute walk away. The hotel makes a good first impression, elegant, modern, and well-maintained. My comfortable room was on the 17th floor and had a sea view. I especially liked the spacious bathroom, with both a bathtub and a shower and plenty of room for cosmetics. Housekeeping came daily and changed the bed linen. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread, pastries, and a good range of sweet options. The sky bar on the 24th floor also deserves a mention for its amazing view.

Pere, the barrister, pointed me to local bakeries with great pastries and some hidden gems around the city, which made my visit even more special. Yonathan at the front desk was welcoming and helpful, and made sure I had what I needed, including a room upgrade. I really appreciated it. My room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a very comfortable bed that gave me the best sleep after exploring the city. The hotel itself is stunning, and the service and luxury impressed me from the moment I arrived. Meliá lives up to its reputation. Thanks to Yonathan, Pere, and Pablo for going above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable!

We didn’t use all the amenities since we weren’t in Barcelona to spend much time at the hotel. The place was clean and well located, close to both a Metro station and a tram stop, so it was easy to reach even though it’s outside the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the hotel and would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind less bathroom privacy. The room design was odd. There’s no bathroom door between the sink area and the rest of the room, only a sliding door for a small toilet cubicle. Instead of a vanity over the bathroom sink, there’s a large glass window overlooking the bed, which seemed pointless. A mirror sits off to one side, but the lighting makes whoever’s reflected in it look ghoulish. There’s also a floor-standing electrical post with the heat and air controls. Its LED display was so bright that we had to cover it to sleep.
