Residencia Universitaria Sarrià

The food got worse as the year went on, to the point that I found it inedible and ended up ordering food almost every day, which cost me a lot. I stayed here for a year and had a bad experience across the board. The rooms are far too small for two people, and you can’t choose to stay alone. There are too many rules, and some are ridiculous. After 11 pm, staff make your friends leave the residence. I also felt staff were listening at room doors. One night my roommate was talking to his mother, but a staff member came in, thought we had girls over, searched the room, and demanded proof that he was on the phone with his mother. It wasn’t worth the money.

I was only there one night as a tourist. The buffet was fabulous, definitely five stars. The room was clean and decent, though nothing special, and I’d give it four stars because the shower didn’t work well. Cleanliness gets five stars from me, which is why I rated the stay five overall.

The rooms were comfortable, and the view from the pool was lovely. The food, though, wasn’t very good.

Breakfast was fabulous, and the buffet lunches and dinners were about €12. The showers were my only complaint, they were too small. A great place to stay when visiting Barcelona.
