Cabanas da Barcela

Top-notch.

The place is lovely and well cared for, with barbecues, spots to sit and relax, different games, and free bikes. There are a couple of trails you can start right outside. The cabins look new, were very clean, and had everything we needed. Quiet, scenic, and with all the amenities close by, it felt like a dream location. Santi was attentive and a pleasure to deal with, helping us from check-in through check-out. Very good value for money, and we’ll definitely come back.

We spent a week here and loved the peaceful setting. There’s a walking path just outside the cabins, and the bed was comfortable. The cabins were spotless and well equipped.

The two-storey cabana had everything we needed. Downstairs there was a little living room with an open kitchen, a bathroom, and doors onto an entrance terrace with sofas. Upstairs on the mezzanine was the sleeping area, with a small balcony furnished with loungers and a table. The property is kept in immaculate condition, and you can rent bikes, use the laundry, and have a barbecue. We only stayed two nights, which felt too short. It’s on the "mar pequeno" (small sea), where the pedestrian dirt track to the beaches begins, and makes a great base for seeing places nearby, including Praia das Catedrais. We’ll be back.
