Casa Guillermo

It’s a 3.000m walk from Playa de Catedrales. The place was clean and the bed was good, but it felt a little pricey for a rural area.

We stayed five nights in a small apartment for three at Casa Guillermo. It felt practically brand new, was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. Antonio and his family were incredibly kind and made us feel at home. There’s a beautiful, well-kept garden with plenty of room to wander. Playa das Catedrales (Cathedral Beach) is a short walk away, and Santo Estevo do Ermo, with its stunning waterfall, is a short drive. We hope to return someday.

Leaving was hard after such a lovely stay, with the sea and countryside all around. The location, little house, and garden feel like something from a fairytale. We’re sorry we couldn’t try the breakfasts since they’re no longer offered, but after talking with the owners, we understand the situation and why. Many thanks to Antonio and his mother for making our stay so wonderful.

The rooms were very clean and each bedroom has its own bathroom. There’s a barbecue, and Las Catedrales is very close, about a 15 min walk or 3 min drive. The garden is spectacular, with a couple of horses and cows making it even more idyllic. The house has incredible views and is in a perfect location. The owners were very friendly, attentive, and always helpful. It’s a bit pricey in high season, but worth it. I’d definitely stay again.
