We loved how quiet and beautiful the countryside felt, and having a car put nearby sights about a 20-minute drive away. José was so helpful, even sorting out taxis for our early departures on the last morning. He also helped arrange catering for a Spanish brunch with cava and fresh fruit, and we got organic produce from the garden every day. Such a lovely stay, thank you Jose! 😍

The outdoor areas were a favorite, with room to read, relax, or have a drink, and the house felt spacious enough for a family or a group of friends. The bedrooms were cozy, the shared areas roomy, and the rustic decor had thoughtful touches. It was also spotless. Las Huertas de Roque sits amid greenery and lovely views, quiet enough to properly switch off. You can still get to Monachil and Granada for walking routes, food, and cultural activities. Mornings brought birdsong, and at night you could look up at the stars. The welcome was warm and helpful. The owners were happy to suggest routes and places to see nearby, and their affection for the area came through. Las Huertas de Roque is a comfortable, well-placed rural retreat where we arrived to rest and left wanting to come back.

My family and I feel we were scammed. We found this business on Google Maps and booked for 8 people for April 27th of this year. We were sent to a different person and website, where we paid, but we never received any service. I can't recommend this business to anyone. Shameless scam!
