Nina, Julian and Elena were so accommodating, and the staff were friendly throughout. The beds were comfortable and the food superb. It's a great little place, with an interesting area to explore on foot, by mountain bike, or on a motorcycle. Definitely recommend it.

We came for lunch after finding the place by chance, so I can't speak to the accommodation. The dining room is tiny but very cozy, and you'll need a reservation. The menu is short, with excellent products and good value. We started with croquettes, a nut salad, clams, and a platter of Iberian cured meats. For mains we had stew, two lamb chops, and an Angus ribeye. Every dish was good, and the staff were excellent. I'd definitely return.

The setting is peaceful, surrounded by lush nature and lovely landscapes, and the location made for a relaxing break. We were warmly welcomed by the owners, and the facilities and atmosphere were lovely. Dinner was excellent, with a very good wine and attentive service. We had a wonderful experience from arrival to departure and highly recommend this pousada.

Whenever we're in Barruelo, we come here to eat. The views of the Palencia mountains are lovely, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the nut salad with its tasty crunchy topping of fried nuts, homemade croquettes, and grilled baby squid. For mains, the ribeye steak was delicious and the hake Bilbao-style was excellent. Highly recommended.
