The coffee is delicious.

I've raised my rating from 4 to 5 stars after seeing that they keep coming up with new ideas. There's a great range of dishes and tapas that aren't on the menu, all reasonably priced and good quality. You can tell they're committed to making their own distinctive food.

The sheets were badly worn and stained, and the room was so hot it felt like a sauna. On our first day there was no hot water or shower gel. When we mentioned the water, they acted as if they couldn't hear us. We asked for shower gel and were told we could use hand soap. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this place.

That hamburger was dry and tough, nearly impossible to swallow, and not at all like the menu picture. It took 50 minutes to arrive, and when I complained that I couldn't cut it, they said they'd replace it if I hadn't started eating. Since I had, apparently that was my problem. The fries weren't wedges, there was no salad or sauce, and the burger was bland and dry, yet priced like a decent one. They gave me a single packet of ketchup, too. Service was mediocre: tables of their friends were served before ours despite ordering later. The whole thing felt like a rip-off and was surreal and deeply disappointing. For all that, the cook patted me on the back like an old friend.
