It's a quirky place that you'll either love or hate. The rooms are basic, as you'd expect for a hostal, with a TV, shower, bath and beds, and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly, though they don't speak much English. I can't complain, as my Spanish is even worse. The beer is nice and very cold, and at €40 night it's cheap as chips. There's a great pool and sun area, but it was closed during my visit in April 25. I bet it's a great place to be in summer, and I'd stay here again.

We were just stopping by on our way somewhere else, not staying here. They have lots of really cool old things to look at and buy.

My brother stayed here for a week in July with his family, then my daughter joined them for 3 nights. The staff weren't helpful, and neither room had any complimentary toiletries for washing. Even when ordered in advance, the restaurant food wasn't nice. To be honest, it looks like a truck drivers stop over. I wouldn't recommend it.

The pool area feels really cosy, and parking up by the hostel was easy. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, with polite, helpful staff. The rooms are basic but have good beds and a shower with plenty of warm water. If you get a room facing the road, though, expect a lot of highway noise, so you can ask for one away from it. The place itself feels dated, with a mix of decor that could use an update. It has what you need for an overnight stop.

We stayed here for a trip to Gorafe canyon and found it clean and warm, with great food. The staff were especially helpful when I needed assistance with my motorcycle.
