The town’s medieval buildings and history made it such a lovely place to stay. The house itself was a real surprise, decorated with so much care and good taste, including all kinds of design pieces. We had a great time there!

We found the rooms clean and comfortable, and the staff were great. Parking was easy too. Just watch the timing for food: the village restaurant is open only from 1300 to 1600. We arrived at 1600, so ended up eating and drinking at the bar.

Being able to bring our dog was a big plus, and they even made a lovely gesture for it. The room was on the small side but really comfortable, and breakfast was delicious and filling, included in the price. Everything was very clean and thoughtfully arranged. A good base for exploring the area, with Palencia close by.

The freedom you get from there being no 24-hour reception was lovely. Isabel was friendly and attentive, and the hotel was very clean with the essentials, plus complimentary tea and coffee and a fantastic pool table. It’s simple, but has some lovely decorative touches. We’ll definitely come back.
