Hotel Hanoi

We were so comfortable here that our original two-night booking at the end of April turned into four nights. The location is excellent, and the room was lovely, spotless, and had comfortable pillows. Downstairs, there’s a handy spot to make tea or coffee and keep food in the fridge.

We were in a top-floor room with the bed up in a loft, but the stairs to get there didn’t feel safe. There were only two power outlets in the room, which felt like a real lack of attention to detail. The room also smelled strongly of sewage, and the air conditioning was so noisy that sleeping meant putting my head under the pillow or getting too hot. The front desk is at a different hotel, where the staff weren’t friendly or helpful. For the price they charge, I’d look for somewhere else in Begur.

The room was very cold, and I left with a cold. I couldn’t turn up the AC because it was so noisy. Breakfast was at another hotel. I never understood why the tomatoes weren’t washed, and the sink seemed like something the staff didn’t want anyone using. P.S. The interior photos are from the hotel where breakfast was served.
