Hotel Rosa

The location was ideal, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were nice for what we paid. Next time, though, I’d spend more for a nicer hotel.

The staff were lovely and very responsive, and they went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. The location is brilliant, with a charming courtyard and large, pretty common areas that are well maintained. It’s clean and perfectly nice for a three-star hotel, and the prices feel right for that rating. The rooms and bathrooms are dated, but neat and tidied and cleaned every day. Towels could be newer, and I wish there were a mini fridge, but that’s about it. I enjoyed it enough to extend my stay. It doesn’t claim to be a luxury hotel.

The hotel’s location is so good that I can’t imagine finding a better spot in Begur. My boyfriend and I stayed in April last year, flying in from London, though we’re from the USA. We took a cab from the airport to Hotel Rosa. The rooms were beautiful, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave us directions, a map, and wonderful recommendations. I’ll definitely stay at Hotel Rosa again next time I’m in Begur.

Breakfast on the outdoor patio was included in the room price, which made this a good-value stay. You can also order drinks or dinner there. The hotel is modest, with basic but comfortable rooms. It’s not right in the town centre, though the beach and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff were friendly, but got our orders wrong and service was a little slow.
