The rooftop bar is a lovely private spot, and at happy hour we could get house wine for just €2.50 a glass each evening. The hotel itself is adorable, with a spacious, clean room that had a great feel to it. It's right off Las Ramblas, a short walk from the Gothic Quarter, with metro and taxis easy to get to. Everyone was so friendly. A must for a Barcelona stay.

We first stayed here with a tour group, but would come back on our own. The breakfast was simple and delicious, and the room's air conditioning worked well. The room was spacious and clean, and the service was great. It feels like a way to experience Spain instead of staying in a typical American hotel. The little hotel is in a good spot in the Gothic neighborhood, close to a main road, and has a cute rooftop. Highly recommend.

We arranged the hotel parking, which cost 15€ a day and was about a 15-minute walk away. The staff were very friendly, the decor was nice, and there's a pleasant rooftop. Hostal Grau is really well placed in Barcelona, with everything walkable. Very good experience, would recommend.

After a hot day of sightseeing, it was lovely to come back to a calm side street and a building that felt both stylish and homey. Help yourself to hot or cold drinks anytime, day or night. The rooms were cool, clean, and simply but stylishly done, with air conditioning, excellent beds, and a great shower. Breakfast was freshly made, with fruit, cereal, bread, cakes, meat, salads, and eggs or omelettes cooked to order. The roof terrace was a relaxed place to sit with a drink when it wasn't too hot. Staff were there around the clock, friendly, welcoming, and full of useful information. We appreciated how the hotel is run with respect for people and the environment. The central location has good transport links, even though the area is very busy, and the hotel itself is on a quiet side road. A very happy stay.
