4 bedroom apartment with a balcony in Las Ramblas 2 2

The location was good, but knowing what the apartment and service were like, I wouldn't have considered staying there. We were there for four nights in August, during the hottest week, and the air conditioning wasn't working. We were told it would be fixed within hours, but it was still broken after our second night and for the rest of the week. The elevator only worked part of the time, so we had to walk up and down four floors in the heat. The apartment was on the fourth floor. In our unit, the key wouldn't double-lock the door. You could close it, and it stayed shut, but you couldn't lock it with the key. The shower/restroom door had no lock and slid back, so it wasn't a good choice if you need privacy. The service person tried his best to help, but couldn't get the air conditioning fixed within a reasonable time.

Bedroom: 5/5. Bathroom: 5/5, comfort: 4/5. The location gets 5, but quiet gets 3 and hotel attractiveness just 1. Air conditioning and staff were not applicable. Recommend: yes.

The location is great, but watch out for street noise.

At first, the apartment seemed nice and very convenient, right on the Ramblas and close to everything. It was also very expensive, €2000 for two weeks. But cleaning was superficial, and the furniture was greasy. There was no clothes horse, and the floor mop was black. For that price, they should get a new one. The antenna cable was broken, so I went out and bought one. The gray fabric sofa and armchair had white stains, and I don't want to say more about them. We covered them with sheets to sit down. The hair dryer had four fingers' worth of dust stuck to it, mixed with hair, and I cleaned and disinfected that myself too. In the end, I bought bleach and spent two days of my vacation cleaning the apartment.
