Hotel Abades Benacazón

The only small drawback was how far it is from Sevilla city center. Otherwise, it's a top place to stay, with big rooms, a lovely pool, good food, and warm, kind people. I'd recommend booking here.

The room was roomy and very clean, and the terrace had a lovely view. Breakfast was excellent, with lots to choose from and longer hours on weekends, which worked well for our slow mornings. It was peaceful around the hotel, and the location beside a gas station, with McDonald’s within walking distance, made things convenient. We also had a locker and minibar in the room. We stayed two nights in May as a couple in a twin room with a terrace, and found it good value, especially with Seville about a 15 to 20 minute drive away. A few things let it down. The mattress was too firm for us, the minibar was empty with no bottled water, and there was visible rust in the bathtub. The air conditioning only cooled and had no heating option, which was inconvenient on rainy days. Parking at the hotel costs extra. The place also seemed geared toward weddings and corporate events, which could affect the feel or layout for regular guests. It's a decent short-stay choice if you're driving and want quiet, good value, and breakfast. The room was clean with a nice view, and nearby fuel and food made getting around easier, though the mattress, limited air conditioning, and event-focused feel may not suit someone after a cozier hotel centered on individual guests. We came from Portugal to Seville for two days at skydive Spain and hoped to unwind after a long, hot day. Instead, it was 29 degrees when we arrived, the pool was empty, and our room had no air conditioning. At reception, I was told it was only used in summer and that there were no fans, so we were basically left to deal with the heat. We also had to pay for parking on arrival. The room was small and worn, and the mini fridge was dirty. The view was the one nice thing about the hotel. I found the staff rude. When we asked about good restaurants nearby, the response was McDonald's, which felt really insulting. We did our own search and found a lovely place down the road. I wouldn't stay here again, and thankfully it was only one night. We would have left that evening to find somewhere else, but we'd had a drink and were driving.

We stopped for one night with the family while travelling through the area. It was great value, the pool was nice, and the bar was perfectly adequate.
