Hotel Palmasol Puerto Marina

The garden looks exotic even in winter, with flowers and plants kept in great shape. The staff are extremely kind, and reception are very helpful with any questions. Isabella and Oriana lead fun daily activities that are easy to join in with and include everyone taking part. The food is varied and tastes good.

The lifts get busy, so we often took the stairs to the fifth floor. The view from there over the wheel and sea was spectacular. The place is a little dated, but at least 50 years old, so that’s expected. The cleaners were lovely, friendly and helpful, especially Amy, and the waiting and bar staff were lovely too, especially Paula, Fayza and Cristobal. We had a wonderful time 🥰👌

The one good thing was reception. The staff there were nice and tried to help, but this place doesn’t feel like a four-star hotel at all. The room was dusty and unclean, and the furniture looked old and worn. The air conditioner filter was filthy, as was the wall switch. There was no toilet brush or bathroom bin, and the room’s only rubbish bin was open, leaving everything visible. Breakfast was disappointing too. There was no proper coffee, just instant from a machine, and no fresh juice, only artificial orange drinks. The food felt cheap and basic. I wouldn’t recommend staying unless you get a big discount. It doesn’t deserve four stars, or even three.

The buffet and shows were a real pleasure during our couple of days here with the family. The staff were lovely, especially Nadia and Isabella, who were kind and funny. I highly recommend the hotel and would go back whenever I get the chance.
