Sara, the restaurant manager, made each meal a pleasure. She was so friendly, attentive and professional, and her care added a lot to our stay. The atmosphere and service throughout were magical, with attention to every detail. It was my best vacation, and we’ll definitely come back. Thank you, Sara!

The Riwo worked much better for our kids than the polynesia. We went there twice, but the kids got bored and it felt a bit snobby. Back at the Riwo, the rooms were a great size and had all the amenities we needed, and the food was excellent with something for everyone. The themed nights were thought through right down to the decor, so you could tell what the theme was before entering the restaurant. Johana and the rest of the staff were lovely. Johana even helped us with the lingo. My only concern was that there’s no net around the pool at night. It was fine for my older kids, but would be useful for younger ones. We’ll definitely be back.

This was our 4th family holiday at Malaga and Riwo World, and we’ve been treated extremely well every time. Johana was especially wonderful. On Wednesday 15th April, it was my daughter’s 12th birthday. I mentioned it at breakfast, and Johana gave her a big smile and cuddle and wished her a happy birthday. Then, while we were eating, Johana brought over a beautiful cake and she and the other waiting staff sang to her. It was such a lovely surprise and got her birthday off to a great start. Johana is always cheerful and pleasant, and goes out of her way to treat guests warmly. I’d appreciate it if this feedback could be passed on to her. All the restaurant staff are brilliant too, they work incredibly hard and are always pleasant. A very happy and satisfied guest!

The standout for a bit of peace was our 'select' room. It came with a permanent table in a separate part of the restaurant and a sunbed area tucked away from the pool, which is ideal if you want something a little more premium. The hotel also has an interesting open space lobby. It’s a good value choice for families, couples and groups across generations, with a decent kids club and entertainment. As part of the Holiday world chain, it gives direct access to the nearby Splash park in summer. Breakfast and dinner have plenty of choice. There’s also an all inclusive option, though the extra options are limited.
