There was plenty of food, with lots of choices and a fantastic breakfast selection. The hotel would have been better on the beach, but the water park made up for being away from it. It’s a great family holiday spot for all ages, with something for the kids to do all the time. Our rooms were spacious and clean, though a little dated. The staff and entertainment team were friendly and great with the children. Sean and spike were especially helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our holiday.

Louise was amazing with our little boy as his swim coach. The beach club next door was a great extra, and there was always plenty happening around the main pool. The food selection was really good too. A fantastic hotel for families, and we’ll definitely try a holiday village again since it made travelling with a young child much easier.

The main pool’s ban on inflatable toys didn’t make sense to me, especially since the hotel shop sells them. We bought one there and were told we couldn’t use it, even though running and jumping into the pool was allowed and seemed more of an issue. The rest of the stay was really good. I was there with my young son for five days in October, and there was lots of entertainment and things for families to do. The pool area was clean, the restaurant had a huge selection of quality food, and the rooms were spacious, though a tap and a light didn’t work. The short walk over the bridge to the included water park was brilliant, and a lovely beach was also close by. It’s about 25 minutes by taxi from the airport. October was warm and not too busy. We’d visit again, definitely worth it with kids.

Travelling alone with my kids, aged 11 and 14, I felt very safe. The Holiday World complex is secure, and entry is limited to people staying there. There was so much for all ages to do, and both kids loved the stay so much they didn’t want to come home. This was our first time at the Holiday Village Hotel, though our third stay in the Holiday World complex. We loved being close to the beach club and had a lovely view of the pool and sea. The food had lots of variety and choice, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
