The owner was very attentive, the Wi-Fi was good, and it's near the bus station. I'd recommend it to pilgrims.

It's an easy area to park in, and we had a good few days in Salamanca. The owner welcomed us in the evening and was very friendly. Our room was small but fine for sleeping, with a complete bathroom and hot water readily available. Getting to it takes some effort since you have to climb stairs. The city center is a pleasant 15-minute walk away. I wish there'd been a phone booking option, as when I called to reserve I was told to book online, and an option to include breakfast would be nice too. There are good cafes nearby, though.

You can walk to Salamanca's historic center in about 15 minutes, and the neighborhood itself is really quiet, with no traffic noise. The hostel was spotless, and the staff made us feel welcome.

For €42, it was great value for a weekend. The rooms are compact but have what you need, apart from a bidet, and the place feels cozy and well cared for. It’s quiet here, away from the busy center, though that’s only a 15-minute walk. A good fit if you’re not after luxury.
