Hotel Vistamar

The hotel had been sealed off by police for not having the correct documentation to operate legally, but the hotel never told us. When we arrived, we couldn't get in. After contacting them, they said it was open and told us to “sneak” in through the back entrance via a dark alley and garage. They then refused to refund us. Stranded at midnight, we had to find a nearby hotel and pay again. An absolute disgrace. Don't waste your money. The place looked rotten anyway, so maybe we had a lucky escape.

A very bad experience. The room was dirty, the towels were covered in makeup, and the sheets had what looked like bird spit on them. When we asked to have the sheets changed, we were told in a very bad tone that the staff had already left. They refused to move us to another room. The staff were so unprofessional, and the food was mediocre.

The air conditioner doesn't work at all, and they were very irresponsible. They gave our room to some strangers who just came in. If we hadn't been there, they could have stolen our things. The receptionist, a woman, is just built different and doesn't know anything about the hotel when you ask questions. Maybe the view is nice, but it's not worth it if you're staying more than one day. I'd advise paying a bit more for a better hotel. There's a reason for the 2,9 rating!

This wasn't a good place to stay and no way deserves four stars. The sofa bed mattress was horrible and dirty, unsuitable for sleeping, and there were no sheets. The room itself looked very dirty. Around the pool, the umbrellas were falling apart and they wouldn't give us enough towels. The sink clogged and wouldn't drain, and the shower head barely worked because it was clogged with calcium buildup. The two ladies at reception were very nice, and that was about it.
