The staff were so warm and friendly, and the setting is amazing. It’s an ideal place to switch off. The houses are fully equipped, with thick walls that keep the outside temperature at bay, and there’s plenty to do. The restaurant serves really tasty dishes made with fresh local produce. Highly recommended. Thank you!
10/10
The cave rooms stay cool and quiet, and the receptionist was attentive and very helpful. Kids have a lovely pool and a great play park. The restaurant was very good and packed at the weekend, though breakfast was very basic. There aren’t many shops nearby, and they all close for siesta, so I’d bring some groceries along.
10/10
There’s a restaurant on site, which is handy after a long day out exploring. Guadix is only a short drive or taxi ride away, and there are forests nearby for walking or mountain biking. The cave rooms and apartments are carved into the mountain, with a fun atmosphere the kids love. Their village-like decoration reminded me of Gaudí or parque guelle. Inside, the rooms feel like a hotel, with plenty of space and a modern feel, depending on which one you get. Some also have kitchens and ensuite bathrooms.
10/10
The bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The cave houses were spotless and well equipped. The scenery is stunning, and it’s a short walk to Benalua, where there are shops and bars.
8/10
The views are incredible, and the restaurant serves home cooked food. We got a lovely welcome at this very different hotel, with its cave rooms. Well worth a visit.
