The landlord was very friendly when we arrived, showed us around and handed over the keys. But the apartment was extremely unsanitary. The floors hadn't been swept or mopped, the kitchen utensils were greasy and dirty, the bathtub was filthy, and the sheets, pillows and bedspreads hadn't been washed and were covered in dog hair. I'm allergic to pet hair, unfortunately. The bathroom door frame was torn off and the toilet hadn't been cleaned. To be clear, everything did work properly: the hot water, heating, stove and refrigerator.
