Apartamento Marqués de Comillas II

It was fantastic, with a central location close to the beach. The only drawback was having no lift for luggage.

The apartment is large and very well located, right next to the beach, but both bathrooms were quite dirty. The shower screen in the larger bathroom wouldn’t close properly, and both bathrooms smelled of plumbing. We’d travelled because of a death in the family and booked in a hurry. I hadn’t realised that arriving after a certain time meant giving 24 hours’ notice to get the keys. The person I contacted on WhatsApp wouldn’t take my call and wouldn’t let a family friend collect them, since only someone staying in the apartment could do that. In the end, the person handing over the keys stayed late and we paid extra. Luckily they agreed, because otherwise I would have been without anywhere to stay at 10 p.m. with two small children, one just 10 days old.

We paid €453 for six people from July 1st to July 3rd, which came to €226 per night. For that price, it was extremely expensive. There were only four beds, the apartment smelled of sewage when we arrived, and the ceiling fan in the only room without air conditioning didn’t work at all. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I called to ask for someone, and a really rude girl picked up and hung up on me after five seconds. If she’s that unwilling to work, they’re in trouble. VERY POOR SERVICE.
