Eurostars Zaragoza

Being next to the train station is handy, but finding the entrance is confusing and there are no signs. Our check-in hadn’t been entered into the system, so two other guests who’d been assigned the same room were able to open our door and disturb us. It was very uncomfortable. There was no free water available, which seems very unprofessional for a four-star hotel. They offered no compensation for their mistakes. I wonder how they got their four-star rating.

The room was a good size, but getting to it was very inconvenient, and with a lot of guests there was no hot water. Noise from nearby buildings, such as the train station, was bothersome. The hotel seemed to cater to group tourists. Staff didn’t seem willing to resolve problems. One person in charge had already left work, so I was told it could be fixed tomorrow. It was the worst experience.

The room was nice and the staff were helpful, but there was some noise. We woke up at 6 a.m. to slamming doors and high heels for about an hour, then the cleaner started working in the next room and that was quite loud too. Buses passing also caused a slight vibration.

Despite what hotels.com says, the hotel is actually inside Delicias station in Zaragoza, with plenty of local bus options. It’s a perfect base for train travelers. I was disappointed, though, that there were no laundry facilities as the description said. I had to find a laundromat.
