Apartamentos El Castell

Small, but set up very practically, and the terrace is huge. It was new and very clean, with TV, Wi-Fi, and AC. The location is exceptional, and the value for money here is hard to beat. There was only one chair on the balcony, though a few more, even folding ones, would be welcome. Also, those stairs up to the penthouse are a challenge after one too many drinks.

I was in the 4th penthouse and found the beds comfortable, the views great, and the location very central. The sunsets were beautiful, and the stay was really comfortable. They were also incredibly accommodating when I needed a few extra work hours on my last day. Thanks so much, we'll be back. Complimentary soap would be a nice addition. Sometimes food smells drift over from the restaurant across the street and can be bothersome, though that's an outside factor and not the management's fault. Thank you.

The apartment was much too small for four people. I don't think places should be rented to four if there's not enough room for everyone to be comfortable. On top of that, there was an unbearable smell of decay as soon as we arrived. We left everything open to get some air, but it never went away. Because the smell meant we couldn't close the windows, we couldn't sleep with the noise and church bells outside. We contacted Booking.com and were told a technician would come, but nobody ever showed up. The smell stayed throughout our whole visit, from July 25th to 28th. It was a nightmare, and the apartment doesn't meet the basic requirements for a good stay for four people.

The beds were the weak point: the mattresses and pillows need improvement, and the sofa bed makes a lot of noise. Everything else was spotless, the air conditioning was great, and the shower was great in the heat. The location is very central, with everything nearby. Check-in and check-out were excellent. They kindly let us know when the apartment was ready so we could get in early.
