Finca El Cortinal

The quiet setting, tucked into nature, made it easy to slow down and properly unwind. Our room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was included and delicious. Laura took such good care of us throughout our three nights. She was warm, lovely to talk to, and always willing to help. Finca El Cotinal has a character that felt much more charming and authentic to us than a standard hotel. One small idea, and not a complaint: because it’s so remote, it’d be nice if guests could get a few more filling, healthy meals without going out. There’s room service, but it’s mostly tapas and sandwiches. Maybe a little restaurant or dinner service could work, along the lines of the breakfast they already offer. That would suit the slow, relaxing feel of the place so well. We’d love to return someday for another chance to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the countryside.
