We were expecting a lovely family holiday, but the experience left a bitter aftertaste because we never got our €2000 deposit back. Tess Vacacional hasn't replied to any of our emails or WhatsApp messages. We were ‘helped’ by Lourdes and Nadage. Please be aware. This feels like a scam.

Our stay in this holiday home was extremely disappointing. The power kept cutting out, and we got several electric shocks in the kitchen, especially from the dishwasher. It was broken and didn't work, so we had to wash dishes by hand. We could even feel electricity coming through the tap. The TV didn't work, and the air conditioners dripped, so we were constantly drying the floor. There was no hot water on three of the nine days. The dryer shrank our clothes badly. I can't recommend this place: it didn't match what had been agreed, and the many problems affected our comfort.

The villa is large enough for four families with children, and it has two TVs. But it's a bit old and needs a good renovation. The bathrooms and pans were dirty. The kitchen photo showed both a regular refrigerator and an American-style one, but when we arrived with groceries, there wasn't enough refrigerator space to store everything. The trampoline was broken when we got there, so the children couldn't use it. It was repaired two days later. The deposit was meant to be returned within 10 days, but after we asked several times, it took a little over two weeks.

The house is okay, but it's very neglected and not well maintained.
