The neighbor’s construction work started at 8 or 9 in the morning and went on until lunchtime. We had been told about it, but it was still disruptive. They also wouldn’t let us in earlier because the cleaner was supposedly there, though the floor wasn’t clean enough to suggest anyone had been cleaning from 10 am to 5 pm. The receptionist’s service was appalling. I spent the whole morning without a definite check-in time, then when she called me to collect the keys, she took about 20 minutes to find them, saying she had “given them to someone.” She only suggested parking near the apartment, where all the parking is paid. Her mistake made us nearly 40 minutes late, and she hadn’t told us the garage entrance was at the same entrance as the supermarket on the street behind the building. When we called to explain that we’d been driving around looking for the garage door and that this shouldn’t happen, she hung up.
