We liked the apartments enough to book another month in advance. Merced and Ricardo, who live in the villa next door, were very helpful and on hand whenever needed. The apartments are good value, with a large interior, comfortable beds, plenty of linen and towels, and a well-equipped kitchen that we didn't use because we ate out. We stayed for a month and did our own laundry. Our big balcony looked over the lovely pool, which got sun for most of the day. We drove and could park on the quiet street outside. The area near the football ground in the old town is peaceful, but the walk back is uphill, though not too steep. That may be hard for anyone with mobility issues; buses run often and taxis aren't expensive. Poniente beach is about a leisurely 20-minute walk away.

The owners were laid-back and dealt with any problems as soon as possible. We enjoyed meals and drinks on the balcony when the weather allowed, though it was too cold to try the lovely-looking pool. The apartment was spacious, clean and a good size, in a quiet part of Benidorm. It's close to amenities but far enough from the centre's daily bustle that you can dip in and head back out. The hill is worth keeping in mind, and buses or taxis may help with the trip back. Friends who've rented other Benidorm apartments had horror stories, but we didn't. We'd recommend this place and will return.

We've been back so many times I've lost count. It's a family-run place with lovely people, and the roomy apartments have really nice bathrooms. Everything you need is there, it feels like home.

We've stayed here nine times, so that says a lot. The apartments are clean, peaceful and have everything you need, just like home. The family who own them are wonderful. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Mercedes waited at the apartment for us while we were coming from the airport, and was a lovely host. The apartment was modern, very clean and right in the heart of the city centre in Alicante, with shops, restaurants and everything else close by. You can find whatever you need nearby.
