Aptos. Astoria - Benidorm

The location is handy, just 50 meters from the beach, and the concierge was very friendly. That's about it for the good points. We stayed in the Astoria A apartment block, as we have in other years, and this was the worst visit in the 7-8 years we've been coming. The place is old and needs work: broken furniture, holes where pictures used to be, graffiti, and closet doors that are almost impossible to open. The cleaning was awful too. There was mold on the shower curtains, the showerhead was broken, the bathroom was dirty, the living room floor was sticky, and the kitchen sink had food scraps in it. The countertop was sticky and stained with tomato, and we had to wash the sheets because they smelled bad. We know these apartments are meant to be basic, but after we explained the condition to the owners, nothing was cleaned or fixed during the whole week. I don't think we'll return.

It was really quiet in the apartment, which was great. The owners were very friendly too.

Such a good apartment, brand new, with incredibly friendly staff. The location is perfect. I'd definitely rent here.
